Todd has spent nearly thirty years in payments and financial services as an operator, strategist, advisor and investor. Before co-founding MoneyStream's return, he spent five years at Tipalti, the global payables automation company. His roles there spanned General Manager of Supplier Success (responsible for the supplier payment experience and supplier financing), Head of Corporate Development, Head of Legal and Chief Human Resources Officer. Through Inergi Advisors, the firm he founded and still runs, he advises emerging financial technology companies on strategy, financing and M&A, including software companies on embedded payments strategy.

As Chief Transformation Officer at Worldpay US, he led key cross-functional transformation programs, strategy and M&A. At First Data, as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, he led corporate strategy, corporate and business development, and competitive intelligence. As Senior Vice President of Payments Strategy at Intuit Financial Services, he led payments strategy and product development, and first worked with Mike. He spent thirteen years in payments consulting, first at Global Concepts, a payment systems consulting firm later acquired by McKinsey & Company, and then as a Senior Expert in McKinsey's Payments practice. He was an investor and board member in the original MoneyStream, which Mike founded.

Mike has spent his career building financial technology platforms and the teams behind them. As CTO of Quantum Financial Technologies, a private-equity-backed fintech lender, he led the move from a manual cash flow underwriting process that took more than four hours to automated decisioning, with 20% of applications underwritten within 10 seconds and 60% within two minutes, and established the enterprise AI operating model that let business teams use automation without waiting on engineering.

As CTO of SmartBiz, he built the bank lending marketplace that reached $500 million in annual originations and became the #1 originator of SBA loans under $350,000, along with its real-time transaction analysis platform and more than 20 production machine learning models.

Earlier he was a Director of Product Development at Intuit, where he led technology strategy for the Intuit Partner Platform and served on the founder-led task force on Intuit's platform strategy, and CTO of StepUp Commerce, which Intuit acquired. He founded MoneyStream in 2012.
